Happy Homings in September 2018
Well well well…… just look at our awesome adoptions so far for September! A whopping 10 beautiful souls have left the building and joined their forever families!
To these lucky babies, go well and enjoy your happy ever after!
Ah our little celebrity, Lawrence! No surprize here but we are happy to officially announce that he is mamma Tracy’s little foster failure Not only is he part of the most amazing family now, but this little cheeky monkey also his his own blog! We are happy to announce that all 4 pooplets from this litter have been adopted. We were alerted to their plight when members of the community phoned to say that pups were being sold on the side of the road, close to Dogtown. Our team were thankfully able to get the person selling them, to sign them over to Dogtown for rehoming. All 4 of them have gone to amazing families
Such a lovely double homing! These 2 sweet girls found the most amazing home together! Paige was one of the furkid who came to us from CLAW a while ago and little Bijou was one of those “come take my dog or we will put her in the street” calls. Needless to say her previous family was not very loving and it now takes a while for her to trust people. But thankfully the most loving, understanding family decided to give her and Paige a loving home where they can feel safe, loved and appreciated all the time.
We simply love it when our golden oldies get adopted! This old fella was adopted through the awesome WOOF PROJECT where he is now part of a nice big family and the updates of him have just been out of this world. He simply rules the roost! Apollo was surrendered to us when his family had to move to a retirement home and sadly they could not take him with them, but it wasnt long before this golden oldie was snapped up!
Oh Bonnie, how awesome things worked out for you in the end! Bonnie’s family had to surrender her back to Dogtown because her family had some unexpected emergencies to deal with and sadly they could no longer care for Bonnie. Bonnie was originally adopted from us as a tiny puppy as part of a litter of 5. Well it wasnt very long until the family who adopted her brother, Connor, found out that she was back at Dogtown and before you could say “Bonnie” she was home with them! She is now part of a big doggy family which includes her brother! How awesome is that for this sweet girl!
Ironically enough, Zuri and Bonnie (whose story is above) are sisters from the same litter. It just happened to work out that they were both surrendered back to Dogtown by their families and then re-adopted by new families in the same month. Zuri was homed through the WOOF PROJECT and we are over the moon! We have all grown quite fond of Zuri and we are so grateful to the WOOF TEAM for going out of their way to make sure the perfect family for her got to meet her. She is loving life in her new home and we are looking forward to many, many happy updates!
That’s right peeps… 14 of our furkids were adopted through the WOOF project over the last few weeks! We are so grateful to Joanne and her team for moving heaven and earth to make sure our furkids got placed into solid, forever homes!
