Hello, my name is Basil, Cinnamon, Diamond, Sage, Thyme & Wooly Bear!
More about me
Male-Female (Medium). Africanis. Puppy - DOB: March 2016.
I am good with:
Dogs, Children, Domestics
Shelter: Barking Mad Network (Eastern-Cape)
Tel: 063 040 6071
I rescued the mom and dads (as there are two dads that created one litter), two were found in Eastern Cape in terrible condition and the other arrived at my gate and stayed. But sadly before I was able to get them all fixed, Madam Sandy, the female, came on heat. I separated them but obviously I was too late.
I have fixed the 3 adults since the birth, so there will be no more, but I now find myself with a 6 puppy problem. I have searched high and low for new homes to no avail. HELP!
Then to add to the problem the two adult males have started fighting and I have to go overseas in 3 weeks time.
Please find attached pics of my little sweeties.
I actually do not want to see any of them leave, as it will break my heart, but I know it will be better for them to have good homes. Especially as rivalry may soon start and the two male puppy’s will soon be competing with the adult males. They are 5 months old now and Boomerang is probably 2=3 years old
Woolly Bear is a male, he is ruler of the group, he is distinctive as he is the only long haired one in the litter, he seems to have a sense of humour, most likely inherited from his dad who smiles a lot. The long hair indicates that dad has some Alsatian i would think.
Cinnamon is very inquisitive and curious and very friendly… they all are friendly actually hahaha but she is a sweetheart.
Diamond is a wonderful sweet girl, but she almost has a sad look, a slight frown on her head that makes one think so, perhaps, but so gentle.
Sage is up beat, also has a sense of humour and is the first to be adventurous and mischievous.
Thyme is the most independent, she was last of the litter, but she is the most lovely dog, shy but loving and sweet.
Basil, he is male, very gentle and kind and so very willing to be obedient. He has smiley eyes and is such a character.
