Bonnie and Billy are happy, loving digs, desperately in need of a home because their owner is being sent overseas to a place big dogs are banned.
They turn 3 in July, and live in a happy-go-lucky pack with a feisty cat, a dominant fox terrier and a bouncy border collie.
They are well trained: Billy’s recall (Come!) is outstanding. They also know Sit, Down, Go Back, Go to your Place, Go to Bed and Watch. The Stay command is coming along too. They are crate trained sleep happily in their crates. They self-exercise – playing with each other in the yard. Billy is the one most desperately in need of a home, since the pair may have to be split up.
When Bonnie gets excited to see you, she spins in circles. When Billy is thoughtful, he cocks his head on one side. Billy, initially frightened in the park, has made incredible progress in a series of sessions with a dog behavioralist, Tersia Kock. He doesn’t pull on lead, and is relaxed in the park.
He is a fabulous, loyal dog. When strangers come to the house, or there is a lot of coming and going he may initially bark, so he sometimes gets crated for 10 minutes, enabling him to be quiet, calm and relaxed. To meet these beauties or if you have any questions at all get in touch with
