A small of group of 3 animal lovers including Dr Taylor, have been feeding them daily for the past 2 months since we found them but we are so worried about snakes and the place where they are has massive bee hives surrounding the area.
They need to be homed together as they lie close to each other all the time having only had each others company. Their bond is very strong. The smaller one is the mother of the bigger one. They are both females. The mother has been sterilised but the other one still has to be done. Those costs will be covered. The mother we estimate is about 6 or 7 years old and the younger one about 4 years of age. As they are used to open space it would be lovely if they could be homed on a small holding or a large plot. They are good watch dogs and so very happy when they have company and we come to feed them.
The older dog comes willingly to one but the other doggie is still a bit nervous and skittish yet comes to lick our hands when we feed and very playful. She likes to carry her bowl around.
We are so hoping a good samaritan somewhere will open their hearts and give them a safe place to stay.
