This is Finn. Finn is a special boy who will need a special home. Here is his story…
About 3 weeks ago LovedforLife was alerted to a post on Facebook about a kitten that had been run over at Vastrap Primary School, Rustenburg, during morning rush hour traffic. The kitten was still alive and moving, but was lying in the middle of the road. On receiving the message two LovedforLife members rushed to the school to find and help the injured kitten which was only found three hours later on the sidewalk amongst building rubble. It is unclear if the kitten managed to move himself out of the road or if somebody cared enough to take him out of the road, but not enough to seek help for him. Finn was rushed to Dr. Schouwstra who took him into her care. Despite being badly hurt, in pain and shock and terrified of humans he was so hungry he immediately started gobbling down kitten food. Thankfully Finn managed to pull through.
Finn is a beautiful boy with the most soulful eyes. He has been living a feral life, but since his ordeal has calmed down at the veterinary practice and is much better at receiving attention and strokes. It would not be right to go release him at the school again. Finn needs a home and a chance to feel what it is like to be loved.
If you have a dog-free home where you will be able to keep Finn inside and have the time to pay special attention to him, please consider adopting Finn and giving him his “happy ever after”. This little fighter deserves a new beginning.
