More about me
Male (Extra-large). Belgian Shepherd Blend. Adult - DOB: October 2011.
Shelter: DogtownSA - Hennops River (Gauteng)
I was surrendered to the town for dogs when my owners moved away and I had to stay behind. When I arrived at the town, I was given a brand new shiny red collar. I learned later that my collar was code for “having difficulty to control my sharp end”. What can I say, if I don’t know a guy (or gal) I get a bit nervous and my sharp end have always managed to get scary stuff to go away. I mean I did give a lot of warnings, I never really wanted to hurt anyone, but most people ignored my warnings and so I had to start talking a bit louder to protect myself.
To my surprise, I found that I was not the only one in this town with this little problem, there are many other dogs who is also busy learning that teeth does not always have to come out, and that a growl or a yawn will do the trick. It’s almost like the Dogtown people speak Dog! What a relief!
I know I can’t go to a forever home yet, but that’s OK because this town for dogs is the next best thing! Lots of good stuff can still come my way, like I can win the Fury fundraiser of the month competition and get any toy I want. Or, I can get a sponsor, who even though they can’t be my person, will still love me from where they are, and help make sure my tummy is full.
I get told that I talk a lot So just to prove that I actually can stop talking, I will keep my bio sweet and short. Oh, and if the Dogfather of Dogtown competition comes up again, be sure to vote for me!
