Koukla is a precious, one of a kind, jack russell girl. Full of personality and character. She is 6 years old – dewormed & vaccinated – she will be spayed before homing.
Koukla is a dedicated, passionate, strong-willed one person dog. She’s a natural hunter and very high energy. She is speedy like a rabbit. She’d be best suited for a kind hearted animal loving family with a son or daughter who will play with her regularly and take her to the park.
She is a snuggler. She knows when it’s bed time and she must be provided with her own bed. Owners need to tell her that is her spot and she can always go there.
She loves the park, but is shy with other dogs. I’ll need to explain her personality: She is diligent and hard working in her digging for critters. She’s the fastest doggie in the park, and always chasing squirrels and birds. She runs far and then catches up as I walk. When she’s not sleeping or running she’s got her head in a hole outside in the plants. A real pouncer!
Her favorite food is meat and rice, and a good Probono biscuit every day. Generally she eats Montego Karoo. But she get a bit over excited at times and forgets to eat. She eats when she’s hungry and in the mood. Obviously daily. She loves carrots. But just a little slice every now and then.
She’s very possessive and can be aggressive with other dogs, but if she is trained properly in meeting them before hand, she is fine with them. She just needs to be trained not to growl. I have done this with her before and she is a fast learner.
I don’t want to regret this decision. So it must be the perfect family or owner for Koukla. She’s been my best friend over 5 years and I want the very best for her.
The new owners must understand her high energy Jack Russel temperament and not scold her for being inquisitive. They need to understand doggie behaviour and act accordingly.
She’s never been sick, apart from once having biliary. She’s got healthy teeth and gums. And genetically a very cute and tough little gem of a dog. She’s insecure around bigger dogs though and so needs regular training and reassurance because she is smaller than most dogs.
Koukla is a doggie for a dedicated dog person who will focus all their attention on her full time.
