Well that sums me up pretty darn well….ok I do have a couple of little nuances but let me first tell you a little about myself.
I’m an extremely handsome (according to my caregivers) tan coloured male boerbul and at nearly six years old I’m in the prime of my life. I was surrendered to Dogtown when my owners moved into a smaller property in an estate and were unable to take me with them. They also said I barked quite a lot when I saw other dogs go past – one of those little nuances I mentioned, but that was only because being a young lad I wanted to meet and talk to all the furkids in my neighbourhood. I did have a husky dog friend that lived with me but he wasn’t much into playing games so my life was quite boring. Because I’m such a big lad my owners were reluctant to let me play with the children that came to visit and hearing them running around playing all sorts of games only made me more excitable and “vocal”.
Well since being here at Dogtown I get to go on long walks with other furkids and my caregivers are teaching me how to control my excitement and barking so as not to jump up and do all those silly little nuances that I did before.
I would really love a forever home with lots of space for me to burn off energy and a family who could play loads of games with me. In return I would look after them and give them endless loyalty and love.
