Hi there folks. My name is Mick and I was told that my ‘job’ for today is to tell all you amazing people out there my story. I am a little shy so you will have to forgive me if I stutter along the way.

Before I joined the Dogtown family, I lived in a cul-de-sac all by myself. For many moons, people would feed me but then leave again and I would have to remain there at my spot wishing that I could go would them. I think that they didn’t take me home with them because I am a big boy and my size intimidated them. I must admit that I was also a bit weary of them because I was not quite sure of their intentions. It’s safe to say that we were all just nervous, confused and a smidgen scared.

Then, one of my feeders decided to contact the people at Dogtown SA. Of course, when they heard of my plight they immediately put a plan into action and came to get me. I did give them a bit of a run around but long story short, I am now living it up in my very own house and with a garden which has a lovely couch plus a basket to lounge in on those lazy days (which sometimes is every day hehe)!

When I’m not lounging, I absolutely love going on walks. I tend to be quite a spectacle although I don’t know why. Apparently, I’m “all legs”!! I have no idea what that means but maybe you can clue me in when you come visit. You see, I loooovve visitors! Especially those with yummy treats but I promise to love you the most if you take me home with you! I’m a love bug of note and would cherish a family of my own. I really hope that’s you :)

So that’s my story. I think I did pretty well, don’t you? I’m off to collect my reward from my caregiver for a job well done then it’s lounging time :) Oh, what a life!
