Tessa is just about 2 years old and is a small black mixed/cross. She is a complete and utter lovebug and will be your shadow! she LOVES people and her favourite spot of an afternoon or evening is to lie along the back of a couch with her head on your shoulder. She has also just figured out the whole fetch ball thing! She knows her “sit”, “down” and “give paw”commands and is a complete happy bundle of fur whenever her people comes home.

She isn’t always so great with other dogs as she can be over exciteable, bouncing, barking in their face and other dogs are, obviously, not always a fan. As she is such a person lover, she can be slightly jealous over her human. Hence why it would probably be best to rehome her as an only dog….or with a very chill male. She’s never had feline siblings so I’m not sure what she would be like with cats.

She is great with kids but little toddlers should watch out as she will bounce to give licks and knocks small peoples off their feet!

She walks well on lead but will run off to say hi to literally anything so off leash walking is best recommended in a safe enclosed area OR keep her on her Extender Lead like we have always done!

She HAS to be in a home that loves dogs on furniture, in beds, in their laps…she will love you to the moon and back and deserves the very same.

It is beyond heartbreaking that we are not able to take her with us to the UK and I have NEVER had to rehome so finding her that loving home is critical.

She has had one rehome failure to a lovely couple who, unfortunately, lived next door to a junior school. The screaming and shrieking of the kids completely unnerved Tess and she became increasingly scared and intimidated by all the strange and loud noises which is why she has come back to our home.
