Hello, my name is TIARA!
My gracious sponsor(s):Stacey Almond
More about me
Female (Medium). Shepherd blend. Adult - DOB: 2010.
I am good with:
Shelter: DogtownSA - Hennops River (Gauteng)
You might recognize me, I am the one and only Tiara. You guys literally saved my life with all your support, prayers and happy thoughts which you sent to me in abundance when Dogtown found me. Boy was that a scary time in my life. I never want to go back to that time. Thankfully there is no “backies” in time. My happy ever after is just around the corner, I can feel it
Let me tell you about myself. Well I am no spring chicken anymore but that does not mean that I don’t have a spring in my step I do have some health issues which I will tell you all about when you come to visit me. Im on a special diet to help with my health-stuff. I have to receive insulin every morning so my forever family needs to not be squeamish around needles. I also have a few sore joints but I get magic powder in my food which makes it all better.
I do like playing with dogs although I can’t play for too long. I am super social and I get along with pretty much any dog I meet. I really love going for walks and getting some fresh air.
I also love food, any food. So be sure to hide the yummy stuff away else I will make sure it goes where it belongs… in my belly I am a talkative girl and I love telling people my life story.
I do sometimes come across as aloof and uninterested in people but I really do love my humans. I am scared of loud male voices though, if I can be honest.
My ideal home would be a quiet, understanding family with older kids who will give me my space and allow me to do my own thing. I would love a home where there are other dogs and I don’t really mind a cat or 2 in the mix, if that’s the way it is. As long as I can get my meds, yummy treats and be told how beautiful I am, we can make it work
Please come meet me, I would love a warm, cozy retirement home where I can become your new best friend.
