Barking Mad is not a physical shelter, but a networking platform where we assist families and rescue centres across South Africa to rehome pets responsibly.

If you are applying for a specific pet on our website, we will contact the pet's current family to confirm availability. Once we hear back, we will guide you through references, a home visit, and meeting the cat. If that pet is no longer available, we may suggest another suitable match.
