Best Friends Pet Lodge is the ideal holiday resort for your dog(s) to stay while you are away.  We are based 20 minutes from Midrand, in the beautiful mountains between Hennops River and Hartbeespoort dam – This is truly a lovely relaxing holiday spot for dogs.

Best Friends pet Lodge is run by qualified Dogtown staff members and with only 12 luxury cabanas, you know your furkid is going to get the personal attention that they need.

What sets Best Friends Pet Lodge apart from any other pets lodge, is the personal care and attention that we offer to make your furkids stay as natural and enjoyable as possible.  With sunset walks, T-touch sessions, games and cuddles, you can relax and enjoy your holiday, knowing that your precious furkid is in good hands.   What makes the experience even more unique, is our daily photo updates of your furkid’s stay.

With quality and well planned daily enrichment provided by internationally qualified staff. The guests at Best Friends Pet Lodge receive the best care while they enjoy their vacation in a tranquil setting. The Dogtown team of 10 full time certified trainers and behaviourists are always on hand to see to your childs every need. RATES – 2019

Each Cabana can house 2 family members. There is an additional fee if more than 2 guests would like to share a cabana.

PEAK SEASON:  Public holidays and Gauteng Public School holidays.

Daily rate: R350 per cabana

OFF PEAK SEASON:

Daily rate: R250 per cabana

We offer discounts to human pensioners as well as senior furkids.

Adopted dogs also get a discount just for being so awesome!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How do I make a booking at Best Fiends Pet Lodge?
A: Phone us on 083 656 2230 or Email us bookings@bestfriendspetlodge.com to confirm availability and receive your furkid’s book-in forms and invoice.  Once we have received your 50% deposit, your stay at the best lodge in town will be secure.

Q: What are the Check-in and Check-out times: (special arrangements can be made on request)
A: Check in times are strictly between 8:00am & 10:00am
Collection times are strictly between 2:00pm & 4:00pm

Q: Must I bring food, blankets or toys with?
A: You are more than welcome to bring along any items that will make your furkid(s) stay even more enjoyable.  All guests will be served Montego Classic. If your dog is on a special diet, please bring their food with them when you book them in.  Beds & Blankets are not required, they will be supplied.

Q: What are the basic requirements for booking in my furkid?
A: Proof that vaccinations are up to date. All guests have to be sterilised (unless prior arrangement has been made). All guests need to receive a top-spot treatment.

Q: Cancellation/Fee Policy
A: Guests departing before the indicated departure date will be charged for the full contracted period, no refunds will be given. A 15% administration fee will be deducted off any cancellation. No refunds at all for cancellations 2 weeks before arrival.
