Hello, my name is JED!

More about me
Male (Large). Standard Poodle - Adult - DOB: 2013.
Shelter: DogtownSA - Hennops River
Ya man! It’s Jed, the Rastafarian! I am not your average standard Poodle, as you can see, I prefer my dreads over having a fluffy butt and feet. The fact is I HATE being groomed, which is partly why I am living at Dogtown, the other part is that I have a history of nibbling on people. Have not done that in a while though!
I’m a bit of nomad and my history is a bit vague, but my future is bright! Well, bright-ish, the brightness depends on how bad my hay-fever is that day. And yes, us dogs do get hay fever as well.
Like I said, my future is bright. My Dogtown person and I have been working really hard on this grooming thing, well, I actually just lie around and lick my substance of choice, peanut butter, while she fiddles around with my paws and face, sometimes there is a pair of scissors involved, but as long as I can taste peanut butter, I don’t feel the need to nibble on anyone.
When I’m ready to go to my forever home, my person will have to do a bit of a crash course to learn how to groom me and how to keep me from getting over excited, yes I know, how odd, an over-excited rastafarian, anything is possible. Which is why I think that one day, I will be adopted by an understanding person or family, and together we can lick peanut butter all day long!
