Milo went missing on about 22nd March 2019 from Willow Wood Estate on Visserhok Road in Durbanville (the newish estate next to D’Urbanvale and Nerina and across from Aurora). We recently returned from 14 months in Zimbabwe and all the cats settled as soon as they realised they were home. There was all the work going on around the estate with the installation of our borehole and water tanks…this might have freaked him out.
When he never came home on Saturday, my husband walked the entire estate perimeter, but there was no sign of Milo. I suspect he may have slipped past the security guard while he was not monitoring the gate office.
He is really a very red ginger and has the rosettes that are so common in them. He has green eyes and has been sterilised and microchipped. He is registered on the Virbac data base. He will be 3 years old soon and weighs about 5 kgs. He isn’t super friendly or affectionate, but always slept on my feet at night. He is a very good hunter – catches birds in flight and eats them, so he has food.
I have offered a reward – no questions asked.
