MEET JAN – BIG BOY, BIG HEART, BIGGEST BABY! Durbanville, Cape Town Don't let those handsome, tough-guy looks fool you! Behind that big, strong exterior is a 5-year-old Labrador blend who is absolutely convinced he's still a tiny puppy! Meet JAN, a professional cuddle enthusiast, devoted ball collector and full-time lovable goofball! Jan may look like the neighbourhood tough guy, but he's really just a giant marshmallow wrapped in fur! His favourite things in life? HIS BALL! Every boy needs a favourite toy, and Jan takes his ball-loving responsibilities VERY seriously! CUDDLES! Personal space? What's that? Jan believes love is best delivered up close and personal! HAVING OPINIONS! Jan has his own little moods and expressions. Some days he's all sunshine and tail wags, other days he's feeling a little grumpy. He's practically human! Sadly, Jan's world has fallen apart. His beloved human mom recently passed away, and his dad is struggling with dementia and can no longer care for him and his best friend, Frikkie. These two boys are incredibly close, and our greatest wish is to keep them TOGETHER. They've already lost their family, and we'd hate for them to lose each other too. We do understand that adopting two dogs isn't always possible, so individual homes will also be considered. Jan grew up alongside a small senior dog and senior cat. However, we cannot guarantee how he'd respond to unfamiliar small dogs or cats, so careful introductions would be needed. Jan doesn't need a fancy life. Just a loving family, a comfy place to rest his big head, his beloved ball and plenty of cuddles. And if Frikkie could come along too? Well, that would be his dream come true!
