MEET JAN & FRIKKIE – TWO BEST FRIENDS, ONE BIG WISH! Durbanville, Cape Town Two handsome boys, two VERY different personalities and one beautiful friendship that we desperately want to keep together! Meet JAN and FRIKKIE, two gorgeous 5-year-old Labrador blends who have been best buddies for years! Sadly, their world has been turned upside down. Their beloved human mom recently passed away, and their dad is battling dementia and can no longer care for them. These boys have already lost so much, and our biggest wish is that they don't lose EACH OTHER too! MEET JAN – THE BIG BABY! Don't let his tough-guy looks fool you! Jan is a giant marshmallow who thinks he's still a tiny puppy! He's a professional cuddle enthusiast who believes personal space is overrated! His favourite ball is his most treasured possession, and he takes playtime VERY seriously! Jan has opinions, moods and enough personality to fill a room! He's practically human! MEET FRIKKIE – THE CLEVER COUCH POTATO! Frikkie believes in working SMARTER, not HARDER! Why give 100% when 50% will do? He's a laid-back chap who enjoys relaxing on the couch, having a good play and, best of all, SWIMMING! He's not a big cuddler like Jan, but once he trusts you, he'll happily settle beside you. And CHILDREN? Frikkie absolutely LOVES them and lights up whenever he sees them! Both boys grew up with a small senior dog and senior cat, but their reactions to unfamiliar small dogs and cats are unknown. OUR BIGGEST WISH? A loving family who will open their hearts and home to BOTH boys! They're incredibly close, and keeping them together would mean the world. We understand that adopting two dogs isn't always possible, so separate homes will also be considered. They've lost their mom and the home they've always known.
