MEET MILLY Pretoria North Gauteng adoptions only Just LOOK at this beautiful brindle girl! Milly is a gorgeous 4-year-old Boerboel with a big personality, an even bigger heart… and just one eye, which only adds to her charm. This girl LOVES her people. She’s affectionate, energetic, loyal and always ready to remind you just how special you are. She’s also quite the conversationalist and isn’t shy about sharing her opinions! Milly is protective of those she loves and naturally alert, but she’s also perfectly happy entertaining herself and doesn’t need attention every second of the day. HER PERFECT HOME Milly can potentially share her home with a large-breed male after a successful introduction, or she’d be very happy as your one-and-only. No cats please. She is wonderful with children. She needs to be kept separate from household staff and garden services, and introductions to visitors should be gentle and carefully managed. A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR SPECIAL GIRL Milly was born without her left eye, but she certainly hasn’t let that slow her down! In 2025 she tore the ligaments in her back right knee and underwent successful surgery. She was later diagnosed with hip dysplasia and had surgery on her right hip in July 2026. Her vet is very happy with her progress. Her left hip has mild dysplasia and will need ongoing monitoring and may require treatment in future. Right now, Milly is doing brilliantly — you honestly wouldn’t know what she’s been through! Her future family will need to be committed to managing her health responsibly. She currently has pet insurance that has covered her treatment, and her family has kindly offered to assist with the medical aid costs for her first 6 months in her new home. Milly has been through a lot, but she has SO much love and life left to give. Now she just needs someone to look past her medical history and see the incredible girl standing in front of them.
