🐾💙 MEET XENA 💙🐾 📍 Pretoria Xena is a beautiful 5-6 year old Terrier blend with one striking blue eye and a heart full of love. ❤️ Please take a moment to read Xena's story from her rescuer. A few weeks ago, while viewing a house for sale, I met a dog I couldn't forget. Standing quietly in the yard was Xena. Thin, frightened, and desperate for kindness, she cautiously approached me, only to be chased away. Her tucked tail and sad eyes told a story no dog should ever have to live. 💔 I couldn't stop thinking about her. A few days later, I got the call that I could take her. With the help of an amazing friend, Lisa, who was dealing with heartbreak of her own, Xena was welcomed into a safe foster home. And that's when everything changed. ✨ The scared little dog who arrived unsure of the world slowly began to blossom. Warm blankets replaced cold floors. Gentle words replaced harsh ones. Love replaced loneliness. Today, Xena is healthy, affectionate, and happiest when she's close to her people. She walks beautifully on lead, sleeps happily indoors, has lovely manners, and is incredibly gentle. 🥰 Despite everything she has been through, Xena still chooses love. When you say her name, her tail starts wagging. When she looks into your eyes, it's as if she's saying, "Thank you for seeing me." 🐾❤️ 🏡 Xena is looking for: ❤️ A family who will make her part of their lives ❤️ A male friend of her size ❤️ Older children (8+ years) ❤️ Lots of love and companionship 🐶 Xena is a social girl and would do great with a male companion of her size 🐱 Cats are unknown.
