MEET AMBER – A SWEET, RESILIENT GIRL Western Cape 3 years old (born 22 July 2022) Amber is a beautiful champagne-coloured sweetheart with the softest soul and a heart overflowing with love. After a tough start and two years in a devoted foster home, she’s finally ready to find the forever family she deserves — one that offers safety, routine, and plenty of cuddles. Her Personality • Absolute cuddle bug — loves blankets and being close to her people • Enjoys squeaky toys and tug-of-war • Gentle and playful with her foster dog brother, Benji • Food-motivated and eager to learn • Walks nicely on lead (still building confidence with recall & off-leash skills) Health & Care • Fully recovered from past surgeries (knee surgery from early malnutrition + emergency intestinal surgery) • Healthy, happy, and active • Enjoys daily walks without needing excessive exercise • Takes a joint/mobility supplement for extra support Her Perfect Home • Calm, committed, dog-savvy adopter • Someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule • Patience and consistency with positive-reinforcement training • Daily walks, warm beds, and LOTS of cuddle time Good to Know • Not exposed to cats or small dogs • Would thrive with a calm male dog (medium–large, non-power breed) • Loves wearing jackets in cold weather • Absolutely adores a warm, comfy bed • Not suited to kennel life — she’s a home-comfort girl through and through A Final Word Amber has been through more than her fair share, yet she remains a bright, gentle, and deeply loving soul.
