💔 SIMONE HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE 2021 💔 📍Dogtown - Gauteng Five years. That's how long Simone has been waiting for someone to choose her. When Simone was found, she was severely injured and fighting for her future. She spent weeks at the vet undergoing treatment and reconstructive surgery before finally being well enough to return to Dogtown. The scars of her past are still visible today, but they tell a story of incredible resilience and survival. One of the things you'll notice about Simone is her very unique smile. Because of the injuries she suffered, her face healed a little differently. Some people may see it as a deformity, but we see it as something beautiful. It's a reminder of how far she's come, how much she's overcome, and how strong she truly is. ❤️ Today, Simone is an affectionate, people-loving 6-year-old Terrier blend who simply wants to be close to her humans. She loves her daily walks, enjoys companionship, and has blossomed into a confident, loyal girl despite everything life has thrown at her. Because of her traumatic past, Simone needs to be the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. She dreams of being the centre of someone's world, the cherished companion, the beloved best friend, the Queen of the Castle. After waiting since 2021, our hearts break a little more each time she watches another dog leave while she stays behind. There is nothing wrong with Simone. She doesn't need fixing. She just needs someone willing to look beyond her scars and see the beautiful soul behind them.
