She is approximately 6 years old and she is spayed and microchipped.
No illnesses. Occasionally suffers from snuffles and has a leaky right eye.
She had one kitten (5 years old now) and we kept him. His name is Benjamin. They both live with myself and boyfriend for 5-6 years now.
She was last seen on Thursday evening, 16 January at home (Old Farm Road, Rondebosch). We moved to this residence on 31 December (from Nelson Road, The Factory Apartments, Observatory) and waited until 14 January to familiarize themselves before letting both cats outside.
She didn’t come home on Friday morning, out of character for her as she has always been a home-body cat. We received a call from a neighbour saying they went camping on Friday morning to Rawsonville - Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway Farm and had seen a cat at their campsite. They realized it may very well be Lola when they returned on Sunday and saw our street posters which matched up to our description of Lola.
It was definitely Lola at the farm. I have confirmed this with the neighbours.
They assumed it was a farm cat. But now we’re not sure if she hitched a lift back to Kloof Nek with their friends or whether she is still on the farm, as their last sighting was when Lola went into the under car ledge of their friends' car.
We still aren’t sure where to focus our energy on .. she could be in the Kloof Nek area where their friends live or still on the farm.
We’re not sure where she is at this point.
She may have even fallen out of their car somewhere along the way.
