MEET RUBEN – THE GINGER BOSS WITH A BABY HEART! Cape Town Big boy, big personality, BIG appetite… and an even bigger heart! Meet Ruben, a ridiculously handsome 1-year-old ginger gentleman looking for his happily ever after! Ruben's story began somewhere rather special! Born in Bat Ayin, a peaceful village in the Judean Hills of Israel, this gorgeous boy is a Kanaani, one of Israel's rarest cat breeds, known for their intelligence, curiosity and adventurous spirit! And here's a little secret… Ruben started life as RUBY! Everyone thought he was a girl until a rather hilarious discovery revealed otherwise! So Ruby became Ruben, meaning "behold, a son!" Surprise! The biggest of his litter, Ruben considers himself the CEO of absolutely everything! He's a confident little boss with a playful streak, a wonderfully unusual purr and a tummy that seems to have no bottom! But underneath that mighty ginger exterior? A big soft baby who loves finding a cosy corner to curl up in. Ruben dreams of a peaceful home with loving humans, trees to climb, windows for neighbourhood surveillance and a secure garden for his daily adventures. After all, even the boss needs somewhere safe to put his paws up! NOW FOR THE REALLY SPECIAL PART! Ruben has a bonded ginger brother called Judah, and we'd absolutely LOVE to see these two handsome boys find a home together! Two ginger ninjas, double the entertainment, twice the mischief and a whole lot of love! We understand that adopting two isn't always possible, so individual applications will also be considered. His brother Levi and beautiful mom Shahara are also searching for loving homes. Could you be the lucky human who gets to call this gorgeous ginger boy family?
